What this Policy Covers

This policy applies to:

  • Monetary contributions made via our website or through other means to O2 Bharat;
  • Recurring donations/subscriptions;
  • Event registrations or programme fees managed by O2 Bharat.

Nature of Donations

Donations to O2 Bharat are voluntary contributions given to support our charitable mission. They are distinct from payments for goods or services. Once processed, many funds are immediately allocated to our programmes, so full reversals are often not feasible.

Refunds – When They May Be Considered

While our standard position is that donations are final, we will review refund or cancellation requests under very limited and exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Duplicate or clearly erroneous payment (e.g., you accidentally donated twice);
  • Payment gateway technical error or processing mistake;
  • The event or programme you registered for is officially cancelled by O2 Bharat.

In such cases:

When Refunds Are Not Possible

  • A recurring donation charge has already been made for a past period — cancellation only applies to future payments;
  • The donor simply changes their mind after the grace period has passed.

Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation/subscription and wish to stop future payments:

  • You may cancel the recurring mandate at any time by contacting us at [Insert contact email] or through your payment gateway;
  • Cancellation will apply to future donations only — past donations will be treated according to the policies above;
